Exercises of various disciplines are combined and influence each other to give a balanced and complete workout with dynamic exercises and full range movements. Pilates matwork creates real core strength, precise alignment, and muscular coordination; yoga moves generates endurance, flexibility and versatility; Reformer-style exercises provide flow and awareness; PNF stimulates nerve and muscular communication. Yes men, as with many of our classes, the Stretch & Core classes are also for you!  No matter your fitness level or discipline we all need to stretch those muscles and strengthen a balanced body.

This gentle class is designed to give you a full body workout paying close attention to alignment so you may get the most benefit out of each exercise. You will lengthen, stabilize and strengthen muscle groups while focusing on your core throughout the entire class.

Fitness has been a part of Lynda’s life for many years so it was a natural next step for her to become a Personal Fitness trainer. She is also a certified Yoga and Pilates instructor.

She currently teaches:

  • Yoga
  • Pilates Mat
  • Reformer
  • Yogilates
  • Spin and weight training
  • and offers one on one Personal training.

She believes in a holistic approach to personal fitness and finding the right balance for your life because that is what life is about. She also has training in Ergonomics and emphasize the importance of correct body alignment in all exercises. To complete the balance, she completed the nutritional training and is certified to offer nutritional advice. Lynda finds Barre training a good addition to attaining a balanced body.
