With origins in the Middle East, belly dance is an expressive dance form that is continually gaining popularity in the Western world. Combining fitness and fun, belly dance is a fantastic stress reliever and self confidence booster. Utilizing movements that are natural to the human body, belly dance is a weight bearing exercise that can be done by anyone regardless of fitness level, age or body type.

This level one fusion class is perfect for beginners or dancers with some experience. Classes include some or all of the following: warm up stretches, isolations of the chest and hips, shimmy drills, cross floor exercises, strength and core conditioning, as well as a short choreography.
